I received this at the Gion Matsuri this summer, from the Kanko-hoko float. It's a fan by Chinha Nakajima of the long-established Kyoto shop, Takahashi Sensuten. When closed, it's just under 30 centimeters. When opened, it's about 45 centimeters. It's a large and magnificent fan. The patterns are different on the front and back, so I think you'll enjoy it.
