It's a smooth, silky fabric. In the images, it looks a bit navy due to the lighting, but the color is black. My family no longer does dressmaking, so I am selling this. It is new and unused, but it has been stored in a box in a closet at home for a long time, so it has a slight smell characteristic of the fabric. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about this. The tag shown in image 2 is attached, but I will cut off the tag, take waterproof measures, fold it up small, and ship it via anonymous delivery.
