Thank you for viewing. This item has been stored at my parents' home for a long time. There are no labels or instructions, but it appears to be Shikoku carving (Sanuki bon). The chisel work is powerful and has a sense of weight. There are almost no scratches on the surface, and it appears to be unused. There is something attached to the back. (See photo 7) In my opinion, it looks like a slight dent has been filled with something like putty. It is not sticky, odorless, and hard. Thank you in advance.
