Handmade pedal made point-to-point, based on the circuit of the EarthQuaker Devices Life Pedal. The layout of each control is based on V3, and the parts selection is based on V1. The footswitches are, from left to right, for the booster, the octaver, and the distortion, each with its own ON/OFF. The booster has an independent circuit and can be used alone, but the distortion must be ON to use the octaver. The knobs are, from left to right, Magnitude, Octave, Distortion, Filter, and Amplitude. Amplitude is the same as a normal Level control, and the Distortion control adjusts the amount of distortion. The Filter control acts as a high-cut, and the higher the knob is turned clockwise, the more the high frequencies are suppressed. Octave blends the upper octave with the original sound, and Magnitude adjusts the boost output. Also, the clipping options can be switched with a toggle switch. The left side is asymmetric clipping with silicon diodes and LEDs, the center is no clipping (op-amp only), and the right side is symmetric clipping with silicon diodes. Note that the original has an external pedal jack to operate the Octave control, but this has been omitted. 1590XX size (approx.) 145mm x 121mm x 39.5mm Caps are attached to all potentiometers to prevent dust from entering. Please use a DC9V center-negative power supply. There may be scratches during production or use. The lettering is slightly misaligned. True bypass specification.
