Vintage Ceramic Lucky Cats – Pair (Tokai Bank Novelty) This is a set of two ceramic coin banks featuring ribbon-wearing cats (white and black) that were distributed as novelty items by Tokai Bank from the Showa era to the mid-Heisei era. These unused, long-term storage items have been carefully preserved, wrapped in newspaper from 1999. Tokai Bank, which no longer exists (merged with Sanwa Bank in 2002 to become UFJ Bank), distributed these to valued customers. They are popular as retro collector's items. The unique design features red, glowing eyes and a charming ribbon with a gold bell around the neck.
