This is a very rare PIONEER carbon fiber headshell, the PP-312. Starting with the PA-100, this headshell was manufactured using carbon fiber molding, leveraging the pipe manufacturing technology of the Exclusive series and others. It was used as the genuine headshell for Pioneer's flagship record players like the PL-70 and the tonearm PA-1000, making it a highly valuable and high-performance carbon fiber headshell representing the Pioneer brand. At first glance, it resembles the JP502, but there is a significant difference in the manufacturing method, using carbon fiber as the material. This results in a lighter weight and a significant difference in torsional strength. There is also a major difference in the shape of the underside. The original Teflon spacer shown in the photos is also included.
