Purchased around 2014, this unit was frequently used by my family for recording, etc., for about 1-2 years. After that, I received it and used it only a few times a year as a Blu-ray and DVD player. I last played a disc in June 2025, so I believe the playback function is working fine. Regarding the recording function, I have never used it, so I don't know its current status. I have also disposed of the TV, so I have no way to check it, and I may not be able to handle things like initialization if necessary. I apologize for this, but please purchase only if you understand this and acknowledge that this is a used item stored by a non-professional.
