It appears to be sampling a fireman jacket or a US NAVY deck hook jacket from the 1940s and 50s. It uses soft sheepskin with nubuck detailing. The sleeves are dolman sleeves, creating a more voluminous silhouette. Furthermore, the lining is a blanket, and there are pockets everywhere, indicating a lot of work went into it.
