Offering this item due to clearing out my grandmother's house. I enjoyed the Urasenke school of tea ceremony as a hobby. I frequently visited Ueno ware (Kumanogaya Koho) and purchased items there. I believe the purchase period was between 1980 and 1995. There is no box. It seems that people overseas use it as a pot cover or for flower arrangements, and I think it would be wonderful for those purposes as well. Condition: Please judge from the photos. It is in very beautiful condition. It is on the smaller side as a *kensui* (waste water container). It might be more useful as a regular dish.
