Previous brown crystal and the temporarily reissued Tart Optical had a dark reddish-brown color, but this Brown Crystal 2 is closer to a vintage item, with a color like a beer bottle, the same color as the Secret Window model. This is the same model, color, and size as the glasses worn by Johnny Depp in the movie "Secret Window." The glasses in the movie were vintage Tart Optical Arnel, but this Julia Tart Optical AR is an authentic reproduction. I have owned vintage items in the past, and the build and texture were exactly the same as this one. I also owned temporarily reissued items, but the color was slightly different, so I recommend this one for those who want the exact same color. Vintage items deteriorate, and I was even refused lens replacement at an optician's, so I let them go. However, this Julia Tart Optical is a current brand and is unused, so I think most opticians will be able to replace the lenses and adjust the frame. I recommend the golden size 44/24, which Johnny Depp also wears, as it has the best overall balance, the lenses won't be thick, and your eyes won't look small. I checked with an optician, and the manufacturer no longer has this color in 44/24, and it's a rare size as there are few produced, so there are no new or used ones for sale anywhere. This is an item I purchased new myself at an authorized optician's store. The lenses have been replaced and the frame has been adjusted, so please have the lenses replaced and the frame adjusted at an optician's.
