Cranberry color. As shown in photo 3, there are rough areas in the gold painting. This is a lovely bonbonniere with hand-painted small flowers scattered on beautiful rose-colored glass. The small flowers are raised with paint, giving them a three-dimensional effect and a delicate, cheerful expression. This item has been repaired in several places. First, the lid appears to have been carefully glued together after being broken in two. Also, the mouth of the body has been beautifully repaired using a technique similar to kintsugi (gold joinery). The resulting gold-painted appearance also reflects on the berry-pink glass, creating a unique accent that is characteristic of this item. Made in France before the first half of the 20th century. The size is approximately 10.5 cm in diameter and 7 cm in height. As it is old, there are scratches and stains in addition to the aforementioned repair marks.
