I purchased this painting (giclée print) a few years ago from Art Print Japan. There were 150 prints in the edition, and it appears to be no longer available. After working in animation, he drew the art backgrounds for TBS's "Folk Tales of Japan." Subsequently, he illustrated fairy tales and picture books. His major works include "Gorilla's Bakery" (Kin no Hoshi Sha) and "Heartwarming Japanese Songs" (Tokyo Shoseki), among many others. While creating prints, he richly expresses the conversations of animals.
