This is an antique silk cloth featuring the Three Rabbits and Auspicious Treasures design (Mitsu Usagi Shūhōmon). Since ancient times, the number "three" has been considered auspicious and has been celebrated. The design depicts three rabbits sitting in a well-behaved manner, viewed from front and back, combined with a treasure motif, and placed on a fine striped background. Made by Tatsu-mura Textile.
