Offered for sale as part of a collection clearance. This is a Pterotrigonia fossil with matrix, from Gunma Prefecture, Japan. The apex of the shell is missing and has been reattached. It has been reinforced with adhesive, and a protective coating of Paraloid has been applied to the surface. The matrix is approximately 8 cm long from left to right.
