This is a small "tsubame" (swallow) pictorial postmark used on May 24, 2025, for the "otegami Furima 2025 Summer" event. The postmark was applied to a "Happy Greeting" swallow stamp issued on May 15, 2024. The postcard features "Thumbelina" by Naffy, a picture book author who has created numerous illustrations and cover art for fairy tales. Both the postcard and the stamp have gold foil accents. I enjoy pictorial postmarks, such as special postmarks, first day of issue postmarks, and scenic postmarks, and I am selling items I have created as a hobby.
