This is a famous Hofner 4/4 size violin making kit, VK-2. The top plate is partially curved, and the sides and neck are also semi-processed. I purchased several of these through parallel import from a musical instrument wholesaler. Special tools and varnish are required for the actual work, but you should be able to find helpful books and videos. This is an old, discontinued kit, so please understand that there may be some dirt and damage to the exterior before considering a purchase.
