The Western Police DVD Collection has also started, and it's becoming increasingly difficult to obtain as more people are starting to collect it now. This is a limited edition and is already out of print. This is the Machine RS-2, which appeared in Western Police Part III and was mainly driven by Detective Godai (Yoshizumi Ishihara) and Detective Minami (Shoji Kobayashi). The Aoshima Western Police plastic model was originally a kit from the 1970s, but in the 2000s, it was branded as a Perfect Model, with new parts added for the tail lamp base and other details. (Images 5 & 6) This is a super-detailed version, based on the Perfect Model specifications, and is a limited edition that includes etching parts, a distinctive antenna connecting from the rear of the body to the sunroof, and metal seals for the side mirrors. It is now very valuable. The RS-2 specific body also reproduces the passenger seat computer and the side body patrol lamps, and you can expect a considerable detail improvement with the included etching parts and metal wires in addition to the detailed parts for the Perfect Model. The metal wire connected to the sunroof has a hook-shaped connection. The body is in good condition with no noticeable distortion or crushing. (The body alone was not originally sealed in vinyl) The markings are in good condition with no yellowing or deterioration. It is now difficult to obtain, so how about it for Western Police fans? The package has dents and scratches commensurate with age, and the sides are significantly faded. It will be wrapped in bubble wrap and packed in a cardboard box for shipping.
