It is made using horsebutt leather from MARYAM (Maryam).
As you use it, the surface paint will be damaged, peel off, or fade, revealing the underlying brown color, showcasing the unique aging of tea-core leather.

About Horsebutt:
This is horse leather manufactured by MARYAM in the Santa Croce sull'Arno district of Tuscany, Italy.
It is tea-core leather made by tanning the high-density fiber "BUTT" (buttocks) of the horse with vegetable tannins, dyeing the base color in a brown color, and then painting the surface with black pigment.
As for its physical properties, it is vegetable-tanned and made using the vacchetta method, so the leather is well-oiled, making it easy to break in, and it is a leather that shows the unique aging of tea-core leather.
