I purchased this nearly 50 years ago and have kept it carefully stored, never having used it. It is a Jitsuzan-style Shippo Sukashi Kyusu (teapot) with a bell. A bell is built into the lid's knob, and it makes a refreshing sound when moved. Also, the Heart Sutra is engraved in fine characters on the side. The Shippo Sukashi is also beautiful, and I believe it is a wonderful work of art. There is a small note on the bottom of the original box (photo 17). I believe the condition is good, but please confirm it thoroughly in the photos. Shipping is not available on weekends and returns are not accepted. The scale is not included. Thank you.
