This is an old Obon tray. My grandmother loved it and used it with great care. It seems to be at least 50 years old, if not older. I believe it's Aizu-nuri lacquerware, but I'm not certain as there's no certificate. However, the lacquer is very solid. There are three small areas on the front where the lacquer has slightly chipped. There are also some faint scratches on the back. Due to changes in lifestyle, I no longer use it, so I'm offering it for sale in the hope that someone else will appreciate it. I hope that those who understand and accept the aging and home storage conditions will consider purchasing it.
