These are items from the popular Muromachi series, even now that the kiln is gone. The set of small bowls is quite rare. The gold and black-based colored painting creates a sharp and contrasting scene on these octagonal small bowls. On the outside, there are white-painted window-style pictures of flowers and birds, and colored paintings with auspicious patterns such as sayagata (swastika) and scales as the background pattern, which are alternately placed on each side of the octagon. Inside, there are gold-colored paintings of arabesque flowers. The rim is decorated with delicate double-tasseled flower-shaped diamond patterns on a black glaze. The gorgeous yet refined design has a dignified and beautiful appearance ^_^. (The color may appear slightly different depending on natural light or lighting.) Size: Approximately 12.6 cm (corner to corner), height approximately 6 cm. Suitable for mukōzuke (small serving bowls), individual serving bowls, and small dishes, for various dishes such as Japanese food, simmered dishes, and boiled dishes. You can also serve them with mixed rice or chirashi sushi at the end of the meal. They are also wonderful for appetizers, Chinese food, and desserts ^_^. Perfect for entertaining! I received these quite a while ago and they were buried during a move. They have been stored away ever since. Unused, beautiful condition. No cracks, chips, or water stains.
