The structure is reminiscent of a military jacket, and you can see practical details often found in M-65s and tactical wear. Judging from the image, the material appears to be cotton or a cotton-blend twill fabric, characterized by a matte texture that suppresses excessive shine. I suspect that this item is designed with the military x punk trend of around the year 2000, the so-called Y2K era, in mind. At that time, Helmut Lang, Raf Simons, and early Dolce & Gabbana, among others, often used the method of stripping down the structure derived from military uniforms and incorporating it into urban, short-length silhouettes. This item also gives the impression of reconstructing the balance as fashion by shortening the length while retaining the symbolism of functional clothing.
