This is a large-bore tenor trombone by S.E. Shires. It's a Custom Series model, with the configuration 1Y/TB47YC/AX. The included mouthpiece receiver is stamped with "3L". This combination features a Model 1 yellow brass bell, known for its clear and focused sound, paired with an Axial Flow valve for an open feel. The slide is a TB47YC slide with a yellow brass crook, which is relatively less common. At the time of listing, the tuning slides, valve, and slide action have been checked and are all moving freely. With proper greasing, it should function normally. Please refer to the photos for any scratches or blemishes on the instrument. A mouthpiece is not included, but I can offer a combined purchase. If you need one, please consider the mouthpieces I have listed. A black hard case is included. The instrument will be packed in the hard case, which will then be placed in a cardboard box for shipping.
