I have experienced this myself, and I believe it is due to compatibility with the playback device. Due to the nature of DVDs, I cannot guarantee playback. Rental DVDs are cheaper than retail versions, but the condition is not very good. If you are looking for perfection, please purchase a new retail version instead of a rental disc. I will ship the package and discs as shown in the photos. To protect the DVDs during shipping, I may use rental cases as packing materials. Because they are cases for packing materials, not all jackets will have cases. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a new item.
