We've created a knit coat using fluffy, soft float wool. The oversized coat was washed and felted to shrink it. The degree of shrinkage depends on the dye, the temperature of the wash water, the origin of the wool, and other factors. We went through numerous prototypes to achieve the ideal shape. The resulting felted knit has a substantial feel while remaining fluffy and soft, and the tightly knit structure creates a warm fabric. This is a relaxed A-line silhouette, a stand-collar coat. The raglan sleeves provide a clean design around the arms. The vibrant color variations are also a charm of the float-felted series.
