This is a Carhartt traditional coat. The tag is faded, making it difficult to read, but I can confirm that it has a star tag. The color is black, but it has faded nicely, appearing somewhat gray. I purchased it at a vintage clothing festival two years ago. The lining has quilted padding. It provides excellent warmth, and I was able to get through winter just by wearing a sweatshirt underneath. It has a large fit, so you can layer clothes underneath. The sleeve length seems long based on the measurements, but because of the ribbed cuffs, it didn't feel too long when worn. The fabric is sturdy for its age and is still in good condition.
