First edition, 2003. The cover shows some wear, but the main body is in good condition. This is the 3rd photobook of Nami Nomi, a wrestler, at age 26. It came a generation after the photobook boom of the 90s, but gravure photography of female wrestlers had become so established that it was recognized as a part of the business. Nomi, with her excellent looks and slender, "soap opera" physique, quickly gained top-class popularity. This book, with its "semi" (referring to the title, which may mean "cicada" or "semi-final") theme, could be considered the maximum service, and it made one think she would go all the way. However, she retired the following year and severed ties with gravure photography. She then joined the theater world, becoming a stage actress under the tutelage of Kōhei Tsuka. It's possible that gravure photography was only done at the request of the management, and it may not have been a job that Nomi found appealing. However, I can't imagine that these shots could have been taken without her enthusiasm, and at the very least, she must have had confidence in her own body. I'm having trouble being concise.
