This is a Shino chawan (tea bowl). It's a piece with a wonderfully subdued, aged quality characteristic of Shino ware. The size is just right, not too big and not too small, making it easy to use. It has been kept in storage only and is in very good condition. The size is approximately 12.5 cm in diameter and 8 cm in height.
