French Antique Napoleon III Era, Late 19th Century A beautiful papier-mâché trinket box. The painting of marguerites and butterflies is enchanting and lovely. The paint has faded over time, giving it a nice atmosphere. There is one chip on the rim of the lid and some peeling and dirt on the bottom, but there is no major damage, and it is in good condition for an original antique papier-mâché piece.
