I purchased this here and used it for about 4 years. It has been initialized. I'm not sure if the problem was with the TV or the Fire Stick, but the volume buttons didn't work. I adjusted the volume with the TV remote. There were no problems with watching content like YouTube. The battery level is unknown, but I will send it with the batteries still inside.
