This is a replica of the US military M-65 parka. It's a recommended military parka that can be worn casually or in a rugged style. The original was an outer garment worn over a field jacket, so the sizing is generous. The inner liner is removable, allowing it to be worn in spring, autumn, and winter. The hood can be detached from the collar, but the hood's fur cannot be removed. In the mid-1960s, the US military made significant changes to its equipment. They replaced the main material, cotton, with synthetic fibers such as nylon and polyester to reduce the weight of the equipment and clothing and improve all-weather performance.
