They are cap-toe shoes made with hand-dyed matte cordovan by craftsmen. While these shoes are primarily designed for casual wear, the cap-toe design allows for potential use in business settings. The design can accommodate various styles depending on the arrangement, such as changing the shoelaces or dyeing the stitching. The specification intentionally avoids glazing, making it more water-resistant compared to Horween cordovan used in Alden shoes, etc. The sole is a Goodyear welted leather sole with a stitched outsole. The sole is double (two layers of leather) construction. Because it is a double welt, it has a strong presence. Worn infrequently, there is almost no wear on the heels. Also, they were only worn on sunny days and not on rainy days. The laces have been changed to waxed flat laces, and Triumph steel tips have been added to the toes.
