Handmade item A8 Sword Hammer Set This is a brand new, unused sword hammer set used to remove the handle (tsukamaki) of a Japanese sword, specifically for a wakizashi or tanto. The part of the sword you hold is called the tsuka. See photo 5 for an example of use. Using a separate mekugi-nuki (peg remover), you tap the wooden block with the hammer to remove the peg as shown in the photo. Shipping will be via Yu-packet Post using recycled paper.
