A sake set by Tomosen Konishi, a master craftsman of Tokoname ware (father of Yohei Konishi), featuring a nerikomi (kneaded clay) technique and nerizome (kneaded glaze) finish, with a matching box. Includes: * Two tokkuri (sake bottles) * Four sakazuki (sake cups) This sake set utilizes the nerizome technique with numerous color schemes. The flowing, layered marble patterns of various colors, the smooth texture, and the innovative and modern design create a unique and stunning visual experience. Both the tokkuri and the ochoko (sake cups) are marked with the inscription "Tomosen" at the bottom. \* Tomosen Konishi \* Born March 23, 1913 (deceased). He was a disciple of the first Ishisen and devised various techniques for modern Tokoname ware tea utensils. Especially regarding colored clay, he perfected the "cut" technique of Kiyomizu-yaki's nerizome method to express kaleidoscope-like patterns, and also used the potter's wheel to create patterns known as "Kujakude" (peacock hand). In his later years, he produced tea utensils using Tokoname's unique Hidasuki (fire streak) and mokake (seaweed glaze) techniques. He was also known as one of the Tokoname Sansen (three immortals) along with Ishisen and Kisen.
