This is a GAP 1969 Premium Western Jacket (denim jacket) purchased at GAP in the Sukiya-bashi Hankyu building in 2000. It's a deadstock item with tags, kept in a home closet after purchase, only tried on and never worn. It uses high-quality premium 1969 selvedge denim woven at low speed using a power loom from Kaihara, a top Japanese denim manufacturer. This is one of the special denim series released to commemorate GAP's 50th anniversary. As you know, GAP is an American brand, but this special project was produced in Italy. It's a special item, being an American brand × Japanese material × Italian production, so I think it's quite rare. Another major feature is that the stitching uses two colors, orange and yellow, and you can imagine that it will change to a unique expression as you wear it. It follows the basic design of a denim jacket, with long sleeves, button cuffs, a spread collar, front button closure, two button-closure chest pockets, and side adjuster buttons. There are no pockets around the waist.
