Buffalo Coin Vintage Boot Straps Purchased in Los Angeles approximately 30 years ago. Size is marked as 27.5cm, but it has 3 belt holes, so it fits most sizes. Buffalo nickel coins are made of 75 percent copper and 25 percent nickel. The coin has a diameter of 21.21 mm (0.835 inches), a thickness of 1.95 mm (0.077 inches), and weighs 5 grams. The obverse (heads side) of the nickel coin features a profile of a Native American facing right, with "LIBERTY" at the upper right and the year of mintage at the lower left. Buffalo coins are alternately decorated on the leather belt, front and back. The images in the latter half are reference images of the item attached to Western boots.
