This is a matcha tea bowl from Tamba-yaki Kaneto Kiln. Tamba (Tachikui) ware is a beautiful pottery designated as a traditional craft of Japan. Each piece is handmade and carefully fired, so you can feel the difference in the depth of color and texture compared to other pottery. Furthermore, the head of the Kaneto Kiln, Keiichi Shimizu, has received numerous awards, including selection for the Nitten Exhibition and the Hyogo Prefecture Art Encouragement Prize.
