This is a rolled straw target (tatami omote) for test cutting used in Iaido and Battodo. It is the type used in the dojo. The dimensions are approximately 90cm in length and 10cm in diameter (with some variation). Before test cutting, soak it in water, and once the entire surface is saturated, drain the excess water slightly before use. The soaking time is approximately 1-2 days.
