This is Hawaiian jewelry from Laulea. I've used it a few times, but it's in beautiful condition with hardly any scratches. It's a bracelet featuring a honu (turtle) and plumeria. Purchased at a Laulea physical store. It uses koa wood, which is believed to be a dwelling place for the gods, so it can also be used as a good luck charm. Koa wood is a plant native to Hawaii, known in Japan as "Acacia wood." In ancient times, it was considered the property of the gods, called Pulupulu, and was treasured as a sacred tree. It is characterized by its beautiful wood grain and warm color, and it takes a long time to grow into a large tree. Due to its rarity, only royalty were allowed to use it, and it was processed into furniture and jewelry boxes.
