Arrived early March. This is a dried maple bassoon sourced from China. I was fortunate enough to acquire it, as it was originally intended to be OEM'd for a European manufacturer. The precision of the keys and cork cutting is among the best I've seen, demonstrating the high level of technical skill in Chinese factories in recent years. Although it's low-priced, it's completely different from the cheap beginner models sold on Amazon and other sites. Therefore, it's a bit expensive for its price range. This bassoon is recommended for those who are new to the instrument or experienced players who don't own one. It's a very resonant instrument that can play extremely high notes. A backpack-style case is included as standard. It will be delivered after a complete adjustment.
