This is a small, wooden, four-drawer tansu (small storage chest) with a Showa retro atmosphere. It's a small drawer type, and the size is just right for organizing stationery, craft supplies, books, documents, and more. The texture of aging is charming. It's about 70 years old (around 1955), and was my grandmother's dowry.
