Monthly mug from a Danish porcelain manufacturer founded in 1936. This is the January (Januar) / Konrakt (Encounter) mug from the 12-month series depicting lovers, a representative work of Bjorn Wiinblad. Bjorn Wiinblad (September 20, 1918 - June 8, 2006) was a Danish artist from Copenhagen. Known for his oriental style and poetic style, he creates works that energize and move viewers. One of his friends said, "If you calculate the time he's been awake without sleeping, he's already over 100 years old. He doesn't care about time, etc., to surprise and delight people. He finds 'joy in beauty' and is invigorated by it." He has held exhibitions in major cities around the world, including Japan, Germany, Austria, Canada, Denmark, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, and the United States.
