Noritake Cup & Saucer This item was carefully displayed on a shelf as part of my mother's collection for many years. It seems she already had it when she got married. ~After some research, it appears these were mainly manufactured for the domestic market (1955-69). It seems some pieces have the "JAPAN" mark, while others don't. It has a sophisticated design with a retro feel, making it a modern piece, you could say. The cup is very thin and light, giving it a luxurious feel. Overall, There are no noticeable scratches, cracks, or chips, but there are some areas where the gold trim has faded. There is some wear on the handle. Considering its age, it's a senior piece, so I hope someone can appreciate it with understanding. (^^) The pattern color is a dark navy, or perhaps a faded black. It's truly lovely, and it's exactly the kind of thing I love... However, I can't put up a display shelf in my new home, so I'm sad T‪꒳T I'm offering it for sale to someone who will appreciate it.
