This is an Arduino Pro Micro, commonly used in DIY keyboards. It has a Type-C connector. Except for the connector, it's exactly the same as the Micro USB versions often included in kits, so you can easily convert to Type-C by simply replacing it. There seem to be several standards for the Pro Micro, and some may not work simply by replacing them, or may cause issues with the connection between the left and right sides when used in split keyboards, but this one works without any problems. After trying several, I finally found one that works with a simple plug-and-play setup. I have sold many of these, and there have been no reports of issues. They are widely used by people other than 7sPro users. I have confirmed the operation of the same lot of products with 7sPro. The feel of operation, including communication between the left and right sides, is exactly the same as the original. Chip: ATmega32U4 5v/16MHz Because it's Type-C, I don't think the connector will come loose like Micro USB, so soldering with the included pin headers should be fine. If you absolutely want to remove it, please purchase a "con-through" from Yusha Kobo. Please set it up according to the build guide for each keyboard.
