I believe this is Tsumugi (mud-dyed), as I heard from my mother. It appears to be mud-dyed, with a black base that can sometimes look like a beige-toned brown. It has been stored in a paulownia chest for a long time, so it currently has the scent of moth repellent. ※ This Oshima Tsumugi has been "yunoshi" (pre-shrunk and prepared for sewing), so there is no label.
