The tip opening is 95, which is wide for an alto saxophone, but it's not so wide that it's unplayable. It's a mouthpiece that allows you to enjoy the thick sound characteristic of Berg Larsen. It comes with the original ligature, but the quality isn't very good, so changing the ligature would likely make it even easier to play. It's a rather slim mouthpiece, so in some cases, it's recommended to shave down the neck cork for use.
