Purchased new over 50 years ago, never used. Condition: Storage marks, stains, temporary stitching, and what appears to be white fluff (possibly from the manufacturing process?) caught in the seams (I've tried to remove as much as possible, but please forgive any remaining). There is a small hole in the lining, and a musty odor. It has been stored in a kimono chest for many years. The original owner believed the material was silk, but it's uncertain (in my opinion, the outer fabric feels stiff, and the lining feels smooth). It's in relatively good condition for its age. The old smell should come out with cleaning. The pink and yellow gradation is beautiful.
