Judging from its construction, it was likely made around that time. ◇ The plating on the metal parts is in relatively good condition for an item that is about half a century old, but there are quite a few scratches overall, and the interior has some tears, so it can be said that it is in a reasonable condition. ◇ When I obtained it, the hardware that holds the handle was missing, and it was held in place with what appeared to be nails. However, as the ends were sharp and dangerous, I have applied masking tape as a temporary measure. ◇ Upon receiving it, I spent about 4 hours removing rust from the latches, polishing the metal parts, washing the exterior with detergent, drying it, vacuuming and wiping the interior. After that, I stored it in a place where it would not be exposed to dust or dirt. Furthermore, for this listing, I have wiped it down again just in case. Therefore, if you understand that it is a used item, most people should be able to use it as is upon receiving it.
