Author Profile: A Japanese journalist, born in Hyogo Prefecture. Graduated from Keio University. Joined the Asahi Shimbun in 1926. Became an editorial writer in 1942 and was in charge of "Kamikaze no Fu" (the predecessor of "Tensei Jingo"). In 1946, he moved to Jiji Shimpo, where he served as Editorial Director and then Managing Director. Later, he became an editorial writer for the Sankei Shimbun. In addition to writing political biographies, he was also well-versed in storytelling (kodan). This is a copy of Shuji Aritake's "Showa no Saisho" (Prime Ministers of the Showa Era), published by Asahi Shimbun in April 1967, with the original obi (book band). There is little yellowing due to age, and no stains, writing, or library stamps. Please consider purchasing, understanding that this is a 58-year-old used book.
