Long scale 650mm, OM type. The volume isn't as loud as a dreadnought, but it's close. Overall, there are no noticeable scratches, just one small spot on the side, making it a very clean instrument! Nut replaced with cow bone. Saddle, octave compensation, and shims added underneath. Fret leveling. The tuning pegs feel a little sticky when turning, but tuning is not a problem. Scale: 650mm, Nut width: 43.5mm Grip: Thin C-shape Rod: Plenty of room left (I believe the rod is for adjusting neck warping, not for adjusting string height. I consider intentionally creating a forward or backward bow to raise the height as one method, but I believe adjustments around the nut and bridge are the main approach.) Neck: Almost perfectly straight String height: 6th string 12F 2.5mm, 1F 0.45mm 1st string 12F 1.8mm, 1F 0.4mm Saddle height: 3.3, 2.8, 3.0mm Adjustments made to the bridge area until satisfactory. I don't simply "shave the saddle to its limit" to lower the string height. I adjust while considering the nut, saddle, and bridge height. To maintain sustain, I ensure a saddle height of 2mm for the 6th string and 1.5mm for the 1st string. For an easy-to-play guitar, the string height at the low frets is important. Adjusting the string height at the 1st fret to 0.35-0.45mm. One of the reasons why F chords are difficult to play. Sore fingers are also unpleasant! Many guitars seem to have unadjusted nut heights.
